Someday, Someone, Somehow…

Sometimes when you want something to work so badly, your heart overrides your mind to create a web of stories reinforcing your belief that nothing is wrong with that setup in your relationship. You’re content and that is all that matters.

But somewhere at the back of your mind, a nagging feeling that something is missing, occasionally creeps up on you and ruins the illusion your heart created. Then one day, you wake up with the cold realization that you were never completely happy with that situation and the only way to rectify it will be to end it then and there.

It’ll hurt for sure, actually it’ll hurt like hell, but doing nothing about getting yourself out of it will cause more damage to yourself and your sanity. And like a band aid that’s been removed, the pain’ll be harsh but at least it’ll end. It might not be today, it might not even be next month but one day it definitely will.

Then you get to chalk this one up as another of life’s lesson that can only be effectively learned through experience. Harsh but reality never was one to hand out lollipops and balloons. It’s more of an S & M relationship, really.

Anyway, moving on with your life will be up to you.
